Daniel Leonard, President and CEO

Named president and chief executive officer in June 2007, Mr. Leonard has more than 30 years experience in the finance industry.  Prior to joining Triad in May 2003 as senior vice president of Portfolio Management, he had a distinguished 12-year career at California Federal Bank where he held a number of senior management positions, including president of California Federal’s Auto One Acceptance Corp. He also held several senior management positions at BankAmerica Corp. Leonard earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Portland State University, Portland, Ore.

Scott A. France, Senior Vice President – Portfolio Management

In this key role, Mr. France leads Triad’s efforts to optimize portfolio performance, overseeing Collections, Customer Care & Titles, Loss Recovery, Portfolio Project Management and Remarketing. An industry veteran, France joined the company with more than 20 years of auto finance experience and proven success in managing multi-billion dollar customer loan portfolios. In addition, he is highly experienced in maximizing portfolio performance using the latest technology and best-in-class processes. Before he joined Triad in August 2007, France held the role as executive vice president, Consumer Services for AmeriCredit Financial Services. There, he led call center operations with a $6 billion portfolio and more than 1,000 people and was responsible for the bankruptcy, asset remarketing and charge-off recovery areas of the business. Prior to joining AmeriCredit in 1996, France managed Client Services for Omni Financial Services, overseeing loan portfolios of more than $1.2 billion in prime and sub-prime auto receivables for multiple clients. He holds a bachelor's degree from Florida State University.

Chris A. Goodman, Senior Vice President - Direct Channel Originations

Mr. Goodman, who joined Triad in September 2001, brings 16 years of automotive and leadership experience to the team. He is responsible for Triad's online direct to consumer product, RoadLoans. Goodman has held senior level management and executive positions with some of the nation's top corporations including TranSouth Financial (Citigroup), where he spent six years prior to Triad as their national sales manager before starting their Direct Lending Division. In addition, he spent five years in a consulting role training F&I managers and working on the retail side of a dealership. Goodman also owned his own Regional Finance Company, originating and selling loans to other lending institutions.

Mark A. Kelly, Senior Vice President - Product Development and Risk Management

Mr. Kelly, who joined Triad in July 2007, brings more than 15 years of experience with financial institutions to the team. Most recently, he worked with Hunter’s Glen/Ford, Ltd., an equity holder and managing partner of Triad, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating equity investments, including Triad. Previously, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Auto One Acceptance Corporation, where he was responsible for financial accounting, treasury, regulatory compliance and risk management. Prior to joining Auto One (which was later acquired by Citigroup), Kelly served as a vice president and regional manager at Bank of America’s housing division, where he was responsible for managing a nationwide portfolio of manufacturing housing, auto loans and auto leases.

Timothy M. O'Connor, Senior Vice President and General Counsel

As senior vice president and general counsel, Mr. O’Connor has more than 20 years experience representing financial institutions as both in-house and outside counsel. Prior to joining Triad in May 2005, he served as vice president in the legal department of CitiFinancial Auto from 2002 to 2005.  He also served as general counsel for Auto One Acceptance Corp. from 1998 to 2002 and was a senior vice president of California Federal Bank from 1994 to 2002. O’Connor earned a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University, a juris doctorate from St. Mary’s University Law School and a master’s degree in laws in federal income taxation from Southern Methodist University.     

David L. Satterfield, Senior Vice President

Mr. Satterfield joined Triad in February 2007.  An industry veteran, Satterfield has more than 20 years of auto finance experience including the development and leadership of large direct and indirect lending groups.  Most recently, he held the role as senior vice president and director of the Strategic Business Group for CitiFinancial Auto. He launched the Strategic Business Group in 2002, growing the organization from 120 employees and $520 million in volume to 420 employees and more than $3 billion in new originations over a four-year period. Previously, he served as executive vice president and chief credit officer of Auto One Acceptance Corporation, where he was responsible for sub-prime originations, and director of Operations for Auto One Houston Credit Center, where he was responsible for all activities related to credit originations, verifications and funding.  Prior to joining Auto One (which was later acquired by Citigroup), Satterfield served as vice president and regional manager of Bank of America’s Dealer Financial Services group. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management and accounting from NorthWood University – Midland Michigan.

Jeffrey O. Butcher, Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Butcher has been with Triad since July 2003 and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s Accounting and Finance departments. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Triad, he was senior vice president and controller for Bay View Capital Corporation, a San Francisco Bay Area community bank. Butcher began his career with KPMG, where he was a senior manager in the financial services practice serving banks, thrifts, credit unions, investment banks and mutual funds. He graduated from Miami University of Ohio with an accounting degree. Butcher is also a certified public accountant.
